Has your sports performance stagnated?
It happens. There are various reasons why you may have plateaued and not achieved new personal records for a long while.
But in this video I’m going to address the three main reasons why, and what you can do to turn things around.
While training and nutrition are the key areas, getting enough of the right nutrition and at the right time is often the biggest struggle for athletes.
In this video, I discuss the following top three reasons you’re not hitting new personal records:
- You’re not eating enough: too many athletes go on mainstream diets that are better designed for more sedentary people – not athletes and active individuals. Worse, they combine them, such as the Ketogenic Diet and Intermittent Fasting.
- You’re not eating at the right time: the correct nutrient timing is just as important as how much you eat. Not balancing food intake throughout the day and making meal planning a priority for proper fueling around your workouts is a recipe for performance stagnation.
- You’re not looking at the big picture: focusing too much on little things such as just supplements instead of your entire diet, will lead to neglect of how everything works together. What you eat overall makes the biggest impact.
