How to Make Your Own Sports Drink

Do you know how easy it is to make your own sports drink?

In this video I show you how to create a homemade sports drink with items you probably have in your pantry, to stay hydrated and fueled in the summer heat.

You don’t need Gatorade or other sugar-laden sports drinks from the store to stay hydrated and nourished during the hot summer months. Chances are you have everything you need right in your pantry, and why not save money and be more eco-friendly?

Today I’m showing you a do-it-yourself, healthy alternative for a sports drink that you’ll love.

  • 3 and 1/2 cups of water
  • half of a cup of juice, either lemon or lime juice or any juice you like for variety, such as orange or cranberry, as long as it’s 100% juice
  •  2 and 1/2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt, preferably  sea salt or Himalayan for more minerals
