March is National Nutrition Month and this year’s theme is “Fuel for the Future”, and eating with sustainability in mind to nourish ourselves and protect the environment.
While this year’s theme looks ahead to the future of the planet, I’d like to offer my reflections on:
1) fueling for YOUR future, and
2) looking back and imagining what I would tell my younger self, knowing what she was struggling with.

Now, working with so many teenage athletes that also struggle with disordered eating, I understand all too well the causes, but also the health consequences that show up years later from eating habits formed now, in their younger years.
