Combo Pushup: A How-To

Welcome, to week three of our pushup video series! Today we are going to show you a combo pushup with 3 different leg movements.

This push-up works in all three planes of motion, sagittal plane, frontal plane, and transverse plane. We live and move in three-dimensional pattern, its important to train the body for your environment.

There are some important points to keep in mind when performing this push-up:

  1. This pushup is going to target your core, hip strength, and challenge your balance.
  2. Go through the pushup sequence with a controlled pace, if you go too fast it’s easy to break form. Remember push-ups are as much of a strength exercise as a core or stability exercise.
  3. Perform all three-leg movements on each leg before resting.

To progress this pushup add more repetitions.
